One of the reasons I LOVE the doTERRA Products is the positive effect they’ve had on my life as well as my family’s. Now that our products are in Canada AND are recognized by Health Canada – many of them with Natural Health Product numbers the possibilities are simply endless!
One of the ways we use our essential oils is for first aid! What I truly love about these oils is they are just that versatile – they can be used for first aid for myself, my hubby, our children and pets as well as cleaning within our home for DIY cleaners, foam soaps, naturally scent our home and cleanse the air at the same time! Truly an investment that keeps on giving and supporting our body’s natural functions!
This is a beautiful graphic created by doTERRA showing the various oils and some of their natural health product uses! So if you have a sprain, cut, skin irritation, muscle pain, burns, bruises, arthritis, digestive discomfort, cold, stress, strain, cough, acne or a headache… There truly is an oil for that!
For myself having three invisible illnesses (PCOS, Hypothyroidism and Endometriosis) going natural was HUGE for me. It was an adjustment, however the best adjustment for my health and my family life that Ive ever made! I no longer rely on over the counter meds, which quite honestly messed with my body even more. Actually some of the over the counter med’s out there cannot even be used when you have some illnesses! They would help for one thing but the side effects would just wreak havoc in other areas of my body.
A little personal story, my hubby was in the garage with a couple buddy’s of his and he reached down to pull a beer out of the beer case. Unfortunately it slipped out of his hand and fell to the floor smashing everywhere – yes a tragedy! When the bottle smashed a large piece of glass came up off the ground and sliced his leg open just above his ankle. We laugh about it now because my hubby was out there talking to the guys about the oils (we had just returned home from the Canadian launch) and as soon as this happened he told them “we have an oil for this”. We cleaned the wound with a couple drops of tea tree oil, let it dry and then I wiped the blood and applied a drop of Helichrysum to the wound and the bleeding stopped. Just like that! Being in the location it was we did have to apply the Helichrysum after work for the next couple of days as the wound would slightly open up, even with a steri-strip, however the wound itself healed up quite nicely!
