Are essential oils safe to use on kids?
YES! We have been using doTERRA Essential Oils on our children for many years now. They have truly benefited our children’s health! Please remember everyone’s skin is different and when using essential oils on children its important to always dilute to ensure their skin is protected as some oils are quite potent/hot.

Are essential oils safe to use around animals?
Since using oils in our home our cat, bird and dog have been fine! In fact the dog enjoys laying with his head below the diffuser. Our home (and bodies) are also cleaned with essential oils! Best recommendation is never lock an animal in a room, allow them to come and go freely. Some oils should not be used on animals, especially cats.

Is there really a difference in quality? Why can’t I buy oils at the grocery or hardware store?
YES there is a BIG difference! The essential oil industry is not regulated, which means anyone can produce and claim an oil is “pure” even when it is not. Many of the oils found in these stores are not what the bottle says (based on testing). Always use a brand you trust. I personally have chosen to align with doTERRA because they are transparent, they empower farmers who produce the oils, the testing is extensive and the product speaks for itself because it works! When you are purchasing a bottle of oils you are literally paying pennies per drop! Which makes it extremely affordable!

Why do I need a wholesale membership account?
UPDATE 2023 – New accounts have their membership enrollment waived with the purchase of a kit! When its time to renew it is an affordable $42 cdn of $35 usd. You are also gifted a bottle of Peppermint Essential Oil with your membership – drastically reducing your cost!

If I go to a class and sign up with someone else, can I still work with you?
If you are NEW to doTERRA and would like a wholesale account – I am EXCITED to help you get signed up! This is often confusing for people how this works, however an important factor. The purpose of doTERRA’s business model is to support Wellness Advocates and their customers to work together, meaning when you purchase oils or a starter kit with a WA that is the person your account is assigned to in the eyes of doTERRA. This person is to support you with any questions and earns an income from your sales, much like a storefront business you would walk into and make a purchase. Customers who sign up under me, I am available for questions and support, if there is something I am unsure of I proudly will reach up and out to my doSisters for assistance to find the answer you seek!

Do Essential Oils heal?
This is a common misconception! Essential Oils do NOT heal. Essential Oils support the body with its natural processes. Our bodies are able to be healthier when the products we use are gentle and recognizable on our body systems. Removing the toxins and harmful chemicals, which I know from experience, are endocrine disruptors that can cause issues with our health.

I just want to buy the oils, I don’t want to do the business
This is the majority of people! There is zero pressure to start your own doTERRA business, in fact, you can get the exact same discounts and promotions that I do earning an income, simply by being a loyal customer! The best part, the oils are literally sourced from all over the world, so when you purchase the oils and use in your everyday life, you are playing a part in rising up the lives of others across the world! #weareinthistogether

Are Essential Oils safe for animals?
Yes and No. We have always had pets and do use many essential oils ON our pets. However you want to consider the pets size and that some essential oils are not to be used ON an animal. For example I use DigestZen confidently on our dog for a stomach upset (he is a lab and labs eat everything).
