You’ll find me on the couch!

…After I completed 6,000 steps at the arena!

While the kids and I were at the arena, hubby got back at the old kitchen demo! The rest of the bottom cupboards are on their way out! I however… am on the couch! LOL I am completely ok admitting I don’t do well with the demo part of the renovations! Hubby does the demo, he even does a lot of the rebuild that we don’t hire out, I jump in when it comes to organizing and moving back into the room 😉 Of course being a numbers gal the planning stages are where its at for me! Budgeting the money to be spent and the design and functional layout!

I dropped the kids off after skating and then went to grab some groceries for the fondue we had tonight. This sunshine has got everyone smiling and coming out of hibernation – the grocery store was packed!

As he is ripping the cupboards out I am happily on the couch, oblivious at this exact moment of the mess and mayhem that’s happening behind me in the old kitchen! It really is better this way, for all of us! 😉

I am so proud of myself for getting up and moving my body today while the kids skated. Its so easy for me to just sit and play on my phone while at the arena. Rather I made myself get up and move! Not just get up and move, but also listen to a few mind opening podcasts!

Elena Brower and her partner James spoke about Collecting Difficult Moments in Relationships (Episode 4), Ange Peters about The Quitting Game and Trade the Anchors for your Wings.

The kids skated while I walked. I kept track of my activity on my phone with the health app it has – it is SO encouraging! To see just in my walking at the arena I hit 6,000 steps!!! So I don’t feel bad now sitting on the couch this afternoon as I work on an online course and write this blog 😉

By mid afternoon the cupboards are out. The room is officially empty of the old kitchen. OMG am I ever so excited to watch this room transform! Im holding out sharing until we are done… its getting so close now! 🙂 I even got time in for some yoga stretches and weights before enjoying a yummy fondue dinner with the family!

We had beef, chicken, potatoes, zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, garlic bread, homemade garlic (greek) dip with lemon EO and homemade cheese sauce! Damn I’ve got it perfected!!! I love fondue because we tend to eat alot less, yet feel fuller much faster! 😍

Cheers to Saturday night and progress ! 🥂😍
