Happy Saturday of Family Day Weekend!

Shortly after 9am on Saturday of a long weekend! Hellloooooo! Not sure why that extra day makes a weekend feel like three times as long but I love it! Especially when we have some things we want to check off our list AND have relaxing as a priority as well!

Kicked off the weekend with a relaxing night at home, so perfect. It’s so true, after a vacation you really do need some downtime. My body and soul has been craving it this week. Almost felt like I had delayed jet lag, but without the time change or hours of travel 🀣😁!

Feeling even more compelled to just be ME and true to my heart! A big part of that for me is my photography and writing!

Last night we made chicken fajitas for dinner with home made guac oh so yummy! Working on an even newer version of myself and am so damn excited! Part of that I will get to on a later date, this week a big focus was meal planning! Left over chicken to a simple, yet so yummy and nutritious Friday night dinner!

One of my biggest reason for wanting a big island in our kitchen… preparing and cooking amazing food! πŸ™πŸ˜ Follow your truest of hearts my friends. What feels light and happy is your truth. What feels heavy and stressful, you need to work through. Planning our dream kitchen was a process but I am so grateful for it and the process!

This morning began early as my alarm happily went off at normal time… whoops! So I got a jump start on my morning routine with my daily greatness journal, A Course In Miracles daily morning lesson and some reading. Of course I picked up my phone again to check out social media… my gosh it is like it’s own vortex. I’m really enjoying Instagram lately for the photos, I’m very much a visual person who also likes to write. I am not someone who likes drama. The less in m life or in my social media feed the better. That why this year I am vowing to bringing more ME into my life. Blogging more and sharing my love with the world!

We all live our own lives that at times can feel hectic and busy. I’m not a fan of the word busy, I like to create our own reality, because truthfully we have the choice to choose what our days look like, for the most part I guess πŸ˜‰! If I can help other ADHD or PCOS Moms like me… this makes my heart so happy and fuels my blogging vibe!

This morning, no rushing. Yes we have a to-do list we will tackle… but after enjoying some downtime. Something we really appreciated while on our cruise. The kids are hanging out, it’s a totally new level of parenting when your kids begin to sleep in and appreciate downtime haha!

This morning as we enjoy our tea and coffee in bed, as I type my good morning blog on this Family day weekend I am grateful for our family’s love, success and continued growth. It wasnt that long ago I was feeling lost, unclear and unmotivated. It can be a wicked thing that can take over your mind. However always honor yourself. Time is precious, take the time you need regardless what that means but always move forward.

My tea as of lately, an even most mornings on our trip, includes 1-2 drops of turmeric essential oil with my green tea! Turmeric is beautifully supportive to emotions and any anxious feelings, also supportive for weight management with your metabolism and healthy glucose levels, antioxidant and immune support!

Moving into another renovation, makes my heart slightly tight and my breathing uneasy. Change is difficult… but change is also SO beautiful, incredible and full of possibilities. Especially when you “change” together.

The diffuser is going with Dr Mariza’s Focus and Concentration roller blend… adapted to the diffuser πŸ™Œ 2 drops each!

Why these oils? Well for me I use Rosemary pretty much every single day in my diffuser in my office. It literally wakes up your brain!

Lavender – the oil of communication

Grapefruit – the oil of honoring the body

Rosemary – the oil of knowledge and transition

Basil – the oil of renewal

For what we have planned for our day… breathing this in over 10 hours will be absolutely beautiful especially emotionally!
