Always Follow Your Heart

There are times in life when we may feel pulled, in one direction and the next. When life is pulled in various ways, sometimes by surprise.

One thing Ive learned is that, although some things may be challenging, everything happens for a reason.

I am a big home body, our kids thrive by routine, I am rarely away from home, yes the cottage is an extension of our home. When my loved ones need me/us, I am, we are there, always.

Times when I may have originally had other “plans”, can be completely set aside.

When helping run a family business and having a close relationship with my family, life can get really hectic.

But its what we do. When family needs something, its what we do to stand up and BE there when needed to do whatever. I love that.

Yes it can mean that my mind and sometimes physical body has been in other places from my family, however its showing and teaching our kids that this is what we do, when loved ones need something, you just be there.

I sometimes question myself as a mother. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, neice, aunt, friend… When my “job” as a mom needs to take an unexpected step back, its ok because Im teaching my kids compassion and patience.
