Tonight the kids requested tacos for supper!
I LOVE any meal that feels like appetizers and tacos are one of our favs!!!
So I began cooking up the meat and beans, when the meat was just about done I added in 1 drop of Oregano, 2 drops of Thyme and 2 drops of Cumin!
While dinner was cooking my son came in and took a great big whiff of the ground beef cooking…
“Mom I want these meat oils in my diffuser tonight!!! Mmmm they smell soooo good!”
I love the smell of these oils as well, did I think he was joking – of course… was he joking… NOPE!
Bedtime came and I asked him to choose oils for the diffuser… His choices… Cumin, Oregano and Thyme! They actually do smell really good together 😉
I also love the emotions behind each of the oils and the curious mother in me had to look them up!
Cumin can help clear emotional “baggage” you may be holding onto. It was used ritually for internal protection and to protect one’s home.

Oregano is The Oil of Humility & Non-Attachment.
Oregano cuts through the fluff of life and teaches individuals to do the same. It removes blocks, clears negativity and cuts away negative attachments. Positive properties: Humility, non-attachment, teachable, flexible, willingness to be wrong and devoted.

Thyme is The Oil of Releasing and Forgiving.
Thyme is one of the most powerful cleansers of the emotional body and assists in addressing trapped feelings which have been buried for a long time. Positive properties: Forgiving, tolerant, emotional release, patient, open-hearted and understanding.

Our own body’s intuition is pretty amazing, even if my kid’s room smells like “meat” I love the emotional cleansing that he is experiencing with the oils in his diffuser tonight. ❤
