Ive had many asking me what it means to be a Wellness Advocate, especially those who simply want to enjoy using the products.
There are three types of people who use doTERRA.
- User
- Sharer
- Builder
These visuals are much easier for people. Being a Wellness Advocate means you have access to wholesale pricing and the choice to share with others or build your own business.
For me I began as a user, after 5 months of using the products I began sharing with others, after another 6 months I decided I wanted to build and share with everyone and anyone! My decision was personally based on my use of the products, how my body and emotions were reacting and the impact on my children’s lives as well.
doTERRA is different, they have a model which is similar to most multi-level marketing companies, however they encourage personal growth with each and every single person who is a user, sharer and builder with doTERRA through product education, scientific findings, research and personal use.
Although the design does resemble a “pyramid” the opportunity is there for anyone to reach and exceed their own goals including out ranking their upline mentor! The structure is completely unique in this way!
doTERRA has chosen to invest in their members who want to take the opportunity to share with others. Just the other night I met with a great new friend, she has been interested in the oils, has experienced some of them, but wanted to take the time to sit down together to talk and experience more!
Every single oil that my friend chose for her first order, were not in a kit – however they were oils that her body was drawn to. When she opened the bottle she said “OMG I love it”! We then looked up each individual oil and found every single one of the oils she chose were ones that would help support her body emotionally and physically with what her body is currently experiencing. Amazing right!
So the compensation that we as building Wellness Advocates receive from doTERRA is compensating us for our time to not only spend to help others experience the oils and see for themselves what they are drawn to and which ones may suit them best, providing on going support to that person with their oils and they are also compensating for the time we invest weekly into personal development, product education, business training etc!
I feel completely blessed to have these oils in my life and for me it was an easy decision to begin sharing and building. If they’ve made this significant of a change in my life, I know they will also do the same for you!
