Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.
I look back over the past year and once again, am reminded almost daily of just how much to be thankful for. First and foremost my family, with whom I am who I am today because of them. I feel so very blessed to have a close relationship, not only with my own family, my husband and kids, but also my parents, siblings and of course my grama’s and aunts and uncles, of course cousins too. I am thankful for having this time with them, spending a lot of time with family and appreciating this time. I am thankful for our health, for our jobs, doing something we both love, I am thankful for what we have worked so hard to achieve in life and being able to enjoy the fruits of our labour, I am thankful for our talents and hobbies a very important part of our personalities, I am thankful or each and every day!
I am even thankful for life’s challenges and obstacles, for these help us appreciate even more what is important and worth rising above or working around.
This weekend, as we celebrate thanksgiving I will also be appreciating the heat we have to keep us warm. I fondly remember last thanksgiving when the beautiful sun was shining. I am very thankful for our beautiful Canadian weather, even if we must endure the cold 😉 and the wonderful opportunities we have to enjoy this wonderful place we live. Last but certainly not least I am thankful for the amazing food, water and health care we have available to us. In a previous post I did point out how we as women must push for doctors to believe us and understand what we as women can/do go through, I am thankful that we have health care to be able to ensure we do receive the proper diagnosis and care.
Happy Thanksgiving and don’t forget to get your cameras out and capture this time together with your family whether you are spending it with your immediate, extended or a multi-generational family celebration!
Last year we took the photo that is now proudly displayed in our family room on a large canvas about our couch, our puppy now full grown, our kids a year older and our family, full of another year of memories! Hopefully the weather will cooperatenone day this weekend so we can take a family photo exactlyna year later!
